Kajul stands out in the engineering industry by recognising that investment isn’t limited to machinery alone; it’s also about investing in people and their skills. While many companies prioritise capital investment in state-of-the-art machinery for competitive advantage, Kajul understands the importance of nurturing its workforce to maintain excellence across all functions of the business.
At Kajul, every team member is empowered with a diverse skill set, enabling them to step into various roles as needed. This cross-functional capability not only strengthens the company’s ability to deliver but also fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other’s contributions.
To ensure continuous skill development, Kajul actively invests in training initiatives, whether through external programs, knowledge-sharing among colleagues, or recognised online training platforms. Recently, Kajul made a commitment to training young people by enrolling an apprentice in an MTC Level 3 Apprenticeship in Advanced Manufacturing.
The apprentice will undergo comprehensive training at MTC’s advanced manufacturing facilities in Ansty, Coventry, where they gain hands-on experience in workshop safety, understanding manufacturing and engineering principles, and mastering the operation of complex machinery and software programs. By the end of the program, the apprentice is well-equipped to seamlessly integrate into Kajul’s highly skilled environment.
Darren Laker, the General Manager of Kajul, emphasises the significance of training as the best investment for the company’s future. He believes that investing in training not only keeps everyone engaged but also ensures that the company remains competitive and resilient in the long term.
By prioritising the development of its workforce, Kajul demonstrates its commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. Through continuous investment in people and training, Kajul secures its position as a leader in the industry, ready to tackle any challenge and seize every opportunity that comes its way.
