Kajul Forges On

KAJUL is a Midlands-based engineering and engineering design development company that specialises in delivering innovative, exacting solutions to meet demanding requirements.

Trading in its current form since 2008, the KAJUL story has gone from strength to strength, now employing 8 people and working on high profile projects such as the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton.

With experience across all sectors and industries, the team have the capability, expertise and problem-solving ability to address engineering challenges for those clients looking to outsource their engineering development needs. With a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and working with the latest technologies, KAJUL produce accurate tooling, prototypes and short runs of the highest quality on time and within budget.

Consultative and collaborative, the team at Kajul will listen to your needs and work as your partner to deliver exactly the solution you require.

With research and experimental development at the forefront of its ethos, by 2015 growth at Kajul had been fuelled by smaller vertical machining centres and enabled the purchase of the current site on the Blue Lias Industrial Estate.

In another milestone, the team moved into the new site and invested in 2 metre 3+2 VMC in 2016. Further investment in the future continued in 2017 with the new KAJUL brand, look, feel and website. This provided the foundation to market more capability in the shape of significant investments in software and inspection equipment in 2018.

The next year, KAJUL began the build of new larger 3300 square foot factory. Determined not to let the pandemic get in the way an Operations Manager was appointed in 2020. And in 2021 the team expanded into the new build.

For 2022 KAJUL plan to invest in a 3D portable CMM [coordinate measuring instrument] romer arm. Through determination, hard work and canny investments the future for Kajul looks bright.
